Caledonian Sleeper

Caledonian Sleeper runs Britain's only long-distance sleeper service, linking London Euston with Scotland on two routes: the Highlander (Fort William, Inverness, Aberdeen) and the Lowlander (Glasgow, Edinburgh). It has been publicly owned by the Scottish Government since June 2023, and added a Birmingham International stop in January 2026.

CAF-built Mark 5 sleeper carriages, introduced from 2019, with Classic Room, Club Room and en-suite Caledonian Double options.

Generous baggage allowance; bicycles carried by prior arrangement.

Imbarco

Club-class lounge access at London Euston from around 22:00; boarding closes shortly before departure.

Cancellazione

Advance fares are largely non-refundable; flexible fares can be refunded for a fee.

No sleeper service runs on Saturday nights or on 24, 25 and 31 December.
